EBRO actuators include pneumatic and electric configurations for automated control of butterfly and ball valves. For quarter-turn applications, the EB series is available in two drive configurations — EB-SYD double-acting pneumatic and EB-SYS single-acting pneumatic with spring return. The appropriate configuration must be selected according to the required safety reset function. The E series, such as E50-E210, and the 262 series use electric drives and are suitable for electrical control systems without a compressed-air supply. For applications requiring linear reciprocating motion, the SC series provides double-acting linear pneumatic actuation. The main selection criteria for this product category are the valve type, available air or power supply, and required fail-safe position, which determine the appropriate drive and configuration.
